Because precast concrete has a very high thermal mass and R-value, our buildings greatly reduce energy use when in operation. Once a buildings’ service life is complete, precast concrete can be reused or broken down into raw materials and recycled into a new sustainable project.

Winter Construction: Because precast concrete products are made in a factory, no additional winter construction costs such as heating and hoarding are needed. Precast concrete products are batched, cast, and cured under one roof creating consistency in both strength and aesthetics.

Thermal Bridging: Our insulated precast wall panels are engineered with thermally efficient wythe connectors that eliminate all thermal breaks within the insulation. This means that our precast panels suppress thermal bridging, greatly improving the envelope’s thermal performance.

Thermal Mass: Because of concrete’s high specific heat capacity, high density and moderate thermal conductivity, our panels have the inherent ability to absorb and store thermal energy much like a thermal sponge. This leads to a reduction in daily temperature fluctuations, therefore reducing operational energy use.
