Blackfalds, Alberta (July 9, 2020) – The Town of Blackfalds is proud to announce that the newly expanded arena and the library will be named the “Eagle Builders Centre.” Town Council accepted the naming rights facility sponsorship at their June 23 Regular Council Committee Meeting.
“It is an honour to team up with a leading company and major contributor such as Eagle Builders who is also a partner in the construction of the new arena,” said Mayor Poole.
Eagle Builders is locally based in Blackfalds/Lacombe County and is an innovator in the engineering, fabrication, and building of precast concrete structures. They have been a long-standing member of the community that employs over 275 Blackfalds and surrounding area residents.

The new 1,300 seat arena will include a second ice surface, a 12,000 sq. ft. library, multi-purpose rooms, and the future home of the Blackfalds Bulldogs.
