Care Communities of Alberta

Various Locations

This four-building continuing care portfolio required a consistent, efficient design that could be delivered across multiple locations, including Airdrie, Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, and Medicine Hat. The project needed to support resident comfort, operational efficiency, and a streamlined construction approach, while adapting to site-specific requirements. This includes a five-storey configuration in Edmonton.

BEFORE AFTER

The completed portfolio delivers 540 Type B continuing care beds across four facilities, each constructed using precast concrete for durability and non-combustible performance. Manufactured in a controlled environment, the buildings were delivered in approximately 20 months from start to resident move-in. The result is a series of reliable, high-performing care homes that support seniors and their families across Alberta.
