Designing a Modern Ice Hockey Facility with Community Focus
The Silent Ice Center required a modern sports complex that could deliver high-performance ice surfaces while creating a strong community gathering space. The design needed to incorporate multiple rinks, enhance the spectator experience, and introduce architectural elements that reflect movement and energy within the building.
A High-Performance Arena with Integrated Design Features

The completed facility features two NHL-size rinks along with a third-floor lounge offering panoramic views and cantilevered bleachers. Precast concrete was used to integrate electrical conduits directly into the structure. Lights embedded in the exterior walls mimic the motion of skate strides, adding a dynamic aesthetic to the building. The result is a modern ice hockey arena that supports sport, activity, and community connection.
