Supporting Large-Scale Infrastructure Requirements
The West Calgary Ring Road segment from Highway 8 to Old Banff Coach Road required bridge components capable of meeting the demands of a major transportation corridor. The project called for the production of large, high-capacity girders to support multiple structures while maintaining consistency, quality, and coordination with project partners throughout the process.

High-Capacity Girders Delivered for Key Corridor
the result
Working with Calgary Safelink Partners, Eagle Builders supplied and produced bridge girders for several structures along the route. The project included the longest girders produced by our team, measuring 60 metres in length and weighing approximately 270,000 pounds each. These components were manufactured to meet the requirements of large-scale infrastructure, supporting the development of a roadway that will serve Calgary’s transportation network for years to come.
